As our motto indicates, Fish Fantasy World was established to make our hobby more enjoyable and affordable. Mission statement:- To improve the quality of fish available in South Africa and teach people how to maintain an aquarium correctly.
The setup is also being designed in order that customers may see what certain species of fry look like as most hobbyists have never seen an angel or discus fry. Tanks will also be set up for the breeding of Gourami's and Siamese Fighter fish showing how the male cares for the fry - in other words, Fish Fantasy will also become a place of interest to all our new and young hobbyists'.
Talks on various subjects will be held such as - setting up your new aquarium; setting up a new marine aquarium; hatching brine shrimp and cultivating live foods, breeding Siamese Fighters and a host of other fish. Please join our forum and enter any subject that you would like us to discuss.
Unfortunately, the wholesalers still show a reluctance to sponsor any prizes for our new competitions.
Our cutting tables have now been set up and all tanks sold will be manufactured by myself. From past experience we have found that the care and expertise needed to build a better tank is only achieved when owner built and cannot be achieved by employing staff. 2008 will see an introduction of cabinets built entirely from marineplywood. Cabinets will be properly sealed so as not to allow absoprtion of moisture which causes the veneer to swell. New models will be available which will include wall units.
We will also be doing a lot of product comparisons to save you costs. So keep an eye on our product page. We will not stock or promote any equipment that we deem to be unnecessary or where the wholesalers are not able to give the standard of service that we require

Any unwanted pet equipment can be advertised for free on our site. Any dog, bird or reptile breeders are welcomed to contact me and advertise their pets on my site for free. Also anyone looking for a specific pet can also advertise on this site. |

Please note that due to time constraints, only regular customers with problems will be helped for free. People buying fish/goods from other pet shops and that have problems with their setups will be charged a R300 consultation fee. There will be no deviation from this policy. Breeding information will also only be available to members of our breeding club. |
